Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE) cordially invite you and your company to participate in the 2nd Annual MPSE Golf Tournament. Hosted by legendary supervising sound editor Per Hallberg, the charity event will take place at the beautiful Malibu Country Club.
The MPSE Golf Tournament is a “Best Ball” event open to golfers of all levels. Individuals or companies may sponsor a hole or contest at the tournament. Sponsorships are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve your sponsorship now, download and email the registration form, or fax it to 925-939-4022.
This event will benefit Save The Children, Inner-City Filmmakers, and the MPSE Ethel Crutcher Scholarship Fund. Save The Children creates lasting, positive change int he lives of children in need in the U.S. and around the world. They insure that children in need grow up protected and safe, healthy and well-nourished, and able to thrice in economically secure households. Through the Ethel Crutcher Scholarship Fund, MPSE provides scholarships for continuing education and advancement in the film and television profession. Inner-City Filmmakers (ICF) was developed in 1992 during the Los Angeles civil unrest. Since 1993, ICF has been guided by its founding goal of providing free year-round professional, technical and business skills training and paid work opportunities to low-income inner city students where they can gain knowledge, perfect skills and develop their potential to the fullest extent.
Registration begins at 10 a.m. with a shotgun start at noon. MPSE will also present a Silent Auction as part of the tournament, featuring audio hardware and software, memorabilia and other items.
