The Value of Investing In SPARS Membership…

SPARS has re-tooled itself to serve, not only our legacy members, but to reach out to smaller facilities as well as independent engineers and producers. Our activities are centered around mentoring and continuing education activities like the regional SPARS Studio Summit program and a vital on-line presence on the Web and in Social Media. We encourage you to become a member and join with us. There are many advantages to joining, not the least of which is being a part of a group of professionals committed to high standards in the craft of recording. Members have the distinction of being able to display the SPARS member logo, a real plus in promoting your services.

The core philosophy of membership in any organization is “benefits and benefactoring.” SPARS is deeply indebted to companies who generously support the activities of SPARS through “Platinum Sponsorship.” Becoming a Platinum Sponsor provides SPARS with additional resources to pursue new member benefits and services while also helping to sustain SPARS’ core services to the industry. We ask every member to consider investing in both SPARS and our industry through a Platinum Sponsorship.

Platinum Sponsorship helps:

  • sustain SPARS’ activities in sharing practical, “hands-on” business information about facility ownership, management and operations
  • enable SPARS to survey its membership on important issues, reflecting and disseminating the voice of the production community
  • support educational activities such as business topic panels, appearances and participation at conferences
  • subsidize the University Lecture Series and Assessment Program for Education
  • enable current, relevant content placement on the web site
  • subsidize publications such as the Time Code Primer and Occupational Handbook
  • enable the Society to maintain the relevancy and utility of the SPARS Test
  • enhance our ability to pursue productive alliances with affiliate organizations throughout the world, such as those in England, Canada, and Japan

Platinum Sponsors receive:

  • prominent listings on our web site and in all Society materials, including banner ads
  • reduced or complimentary registration to selected SPARS events
  • enhanced display materials on our kiosk
  • discounts on publications, advertising and publication sponsorship
  • membership data file
  • waiver of selected regional and luncheon event administration fees
  • personal board interface
