Sennheiser Recording Seminar
Tuesday, June 8, 2011
57th Street Productions
16891 146th Street SE, Suite 123
Monroe, WA 98272
10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Guest speaker: Engineer/Producer Aaron Sprinkle
Artist/Producer Aaron Sprinkle has been a staple of the Northwest independent music scene for many years – notably as a member of Poor Old Lu, and more recently as a producer of albums by the likes of Pedro The Lion, Anberlin, Dead Poetic, and many others. Sprinkle will be recording Tooth & Nail Records Artist, The Classic Crime.

The Classic Crime isn’t limited to scenes, trends or even genres — at least not to anything more specifically than “rock” (like say U2 or the Foo Fighters). They may hail from the rich music scene of Seattle, but they aren’t hipsters and they don’t play grunge. With giant infectious melodies and occasional dalliances with prog-math and a new found sense of whimsy, The Classic Crime is for everybody.

The course highlights two key elements:
Basic microphone techniques

Advanced studio recording concepts and practices

All techniques will be demonstrated and practiced on exclusive, high-end Sennheiser and Neumann microphone systems. Each seminar is just $149 and includes lunch, workshop materials, and complimentary giveaways. You will also receive a $50 coupon good toward the purchase of any Sennheiser product! The Sennheiser Recording Seminar series is brought sponsored in partneship with Recording Magazine.
