Guest speakers will be Joe Tarsia and Billy Jackson. Tarsia was the legendary owner of Sigma Sound, a cornerstone of the Philly music scene for decades. Tarsia was also one of the founding members of SPARS and first President of the 32 year old recording association. Jackson was the producer for Miles Davis and also a singer and producer who had a number #1 hit “So Much In Love ” by the Tymes and a string of top ten hits with groups such as the Rolling Stones, Peter Tosh, Frankie Beverley, Chubby Checker, etc. thru four decades of music.

Both of these stellar individuals have a long and famous history not only in the Philly music scene of the past 40 years, but they both left an indelible mark on the history of recorded music in America. The stories and comments they will share will most certainly be remembered by those who attend this meeting.
